PWRDF Lent Fundraiser
Join us in supporting the PWRDF Gaza and West Bank Emergency Appeal and Response
For our Lenten Fundraiser this year our goal is to raise funds for PWRDF as they join with other Anglican organizations around the world supporting the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza strip and particularly to get the hospital functioning properly again. Please check the website pwrdf.org/gaza to get the latest information as it is updated frequently. Most of us will have seen enough from daily news sources to know the enormity of the need there right now.
As of Vestry (Feb.25th), I will be stepping down from being the PWRDF parish rep for St. Mary's. It has been an honour to do ministry alongside you. I hope you will support this Lenten fundraiser, in a way that works best for you. ~ Jan Rups Levett
As is our custom for the Lenten fundraiser, after Easter, we will publish the amount raised by our parishioners. We will be collecting contributions via:
ONLINE: visit our website, click donate, choose the ‘PWRDF Lent Appeal’ option in the drop-down menu, and enter the amount and card details.
E-TRANSFER: a dollar amount to office@stmaryskerrisdale.ca and include ‘PWRDF Lent Appeal’ in the message.
CASH/CHEQUE: can be dropped off in the collection plate on Sundays, dropped off to our secure ‘drop box’ located by the main office doors, or mailed into the parish: 2490 West 37th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V6M 1P5. Donations by cheque should be made out to St. Mary’s Kerrisdale with ‘PWRDF’ on the memo line.
CASH: (must be in an envelope, with 'PWRDF Lent Appeal' written on the envelope. The envelope can be dropped off in the collection plate on Sundays, dropped off to our secure ‘drop box’ located by the main office doors, or given directly to the office during office hours (Mon-Thurs, 9am-1pm).
The final in-person collection is Palm Sunday.
