Guest Preacher: Rev. Peter Smyth

Rev. Peter Smyth, Chaplain—The Mission to Seafarers, will be our guest preacher at both services on June 23rd (Sundae Sunday).

Introducing Rev. Peter Smyth…

I was born and spent my school years in N.Ireland and then attended university in Bangor,Wales and Dublin before being ordained in the Anglican Church of Ireland. I served in a parish and psychiatric hospital in Dublin before moving to parishes in Thunder Bay and  Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. I came to Vancouver to be the Senior Port Chaplain with the Mission to Seafarers in 2016 being involved with the support of seafarers since student days. I enjoy the outdoors such as gardening and ornithology and quality time with family. I am married to Elizabeth with two teenage sons Aedan and Isaac.
